🎓 Why Ugandan students use TurnitinMy
Students in Uganda often have no way to run a Turnitin check before the final submission — the university runs it once, and a failed report can cost a semester. TurnitinMy gives Ugandan students the same Turnitin report for less than the price of a printout, paid by card or USDT so it works even when international card payments are difficult.
📏 Similarity limits at universities in Uganda
Makerere and most Ugandan universities set a 20% similarity limit for dissertations and theses and require a Turnitin report before the viva.
Commonly checked by students at: Makerere University, Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Kyambogo University, Uganda Christian University, Gulu University. Always confirm the exact limit with your supervisor or department handbook — this page describes what students typically report.
