🎓 Why Egyptian students use TurnitinMy
Universities in Egypt check every thesis with Turnitin or iThenticate before the defence, and a report that comes back too high means weeks of rework. A pre-check from TurnitinMy shows Egyptian students exactly which passages match, in English or Arabic, so the official check is a formality.
📏 Similarity limits at universities in Egypt
Egyptian universities under the Supreme Council of Universities generally require thesis similarity under 20%–25%, checked through iThenticate or Turnitin before the viva.
Commonly checked by students at: Cairo University, Ain Shams University, The American University in Cairo, Alexandria University, Mansoura University. Always confirm the exact limit with your supervisor or department handbook — this page describes what students typically report.
